Winnie Taylor is a national authority in consumer law, contracts, and credit and employment discrimination. For the past 30 years she has served as a consultant for Fair Lending and Workplace Equity, focusing on equal credit opportunity and equal employment opportunity laws.
She has written extensively on the federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act and is a former member of the Federal Reserve Board’s Consumer Advisory Council. She also participated as an instructor in a Federal Trade Commission program to train its attorneys regarding fair lending and other consumer banking issues.
During her time at Cornell, Professor Taylor served as the Associate Provost for Cornell University, where she was responsible for creating and shaping university policy as it relates to faculty development and enhancement, diversity issues, academic programs, regulatory compliance, and recruiting.
