Biography
Sacha Ross, is a Partner at Cooley LLP, and is a trusted advisor to leading technology and high-growth companies and their investors. Over the course of $20 + billion in transactions, Sacha has advised these high-growth companies from formation through funding and liquidity events. A fixture in the New York tech scene, Sacha brings a pragmatic, hands-on bi-coastal approach to representing high-growth companies and their investors. Sacha counsels on incorporation and organizational matters; seed, angel, strategic and venture capital financings; mergers and acquisitions; employment matters; complex securities matters; public offerings; and corporate governance issues. Sacha also advises leading venture capital and strategic investors in connection with investments into high-growth companies.
Sacha frequently speaks on legal topics important to high-growth companies, including at Cornell, Cornell Tech, Columbia, Harvard, Brooklyn Law School, Cardoza, General Assembly and for various angel groups. Sacha works with a variety of technology-related nonprofit organizations on a pro bono basis, includingHackNY, and is a member of Cornell's Entrepreneurship Advisory Council.
Before joining Cooley, Sacha practiced at Wilson Sonsini first in Silicon Valley and then as a partner in NewYork. As the senior vice president for a growth technology company, where he focused on businessdevelopment, business strategy, and fund raising, Sacha understands the challenges clients face.
Before earning his J.D, Sacha received his M.B.A. in finance from New York University's Stern School of Business while working at Deloitte and Touche.
