Jane Hammond is a Professor Emerita. With extensive experience in the libraries of Harvard Law School, Drexel University, and Villanova University School of Law, Professor Hammond served as the Edward Cornell Law Librarian for seventeen years until her retirement in 1993.
During her tenure, Professor Hammond fundamentally changed and modernized library operations, and from 1985-1987 worked as Acting Director of the Cornell University Libraries Computerized Library Information Project.
